SPLATTER CAMO

SPLATTER CAMO

If you want a custom firearm, you do not have to do much to make something unique. A simple "paint job" refinish and you can end up with a gun that no one else has. If you have the skill set and the tools don't be afraid to try to make your own stencils for a custom camouflage. If the coat does not look right the first time, strip it off and try again. Remember to work slowly and methodically. Always try to know what your next step will be and you will end up having a gun you want to show off.

We did this "splatter camo" to practice some new techniques for refinishing firearms. It was scary at first but what we ended up with was a cool looking pistol. The other side of our slide showing off our new "splatter camo".

I am thinking that with the next one will will take the concept a little further by layering at least 3 layers. An O.D. Green base, Leupold Brown on top then some Black on Top.
